My divorce is now finalized and behind me. I am rebuilding my life and healing, I wanted to take a moment to recognize Nancy Boler and the help she gave me at a very difficult point in my life. I was referred to Nancy by someone who knew my situation, and knew my ex husband's situation first-hand. That person knew both sides of the story. I will always be grateful that I made that connection. I met with Nancy in person during a time when I was physically injured and emotionally overwhelmed. She saw the bruising and significant swelling on my face and the injuries I had experienced. She didn't have to imagine how serious the situation was—she saw it firsthand. At that point, I was trying to figure out what to do next and how to protect myself and my daughter. I was scared, overwhelmed, and unfamiliar with the family-law process. Ms. Boler took the time to meet with me, listen to what I was going through, and help me understand the legal steps I needed to begin taking. What I remember most is that Ms. Boler helped me begin moving forward at a time when I wasn't sure where to start. Having someone sit down with me, listen, and provide legal guidance when I was in such a vulnerable place meant a lot to me. Nancy helped me begin navigating the divorce process and the legal issues involving my daughter, our family, and my financial and property interests. Those initial steps were important in helping me regain some stability and begin rebuilding my life. My divorce ultimately became a long and complicated process, and I later transitioned my representation to another attorney who was a better fit for the ongoing needs of my case. But I don't want that to take away from the role Nancy played at the beginning. She was one of the people who helped me take those first steps when I needed help the most. Now that the divorce is behind me, I am focused on healing, rebuilding my life, and creating a peaceful and stable future for myself and my daughter. Looking back, I am grateful for the people who helped me along the way, and Nancy was one of them. Thank you, Nancy, for meeting with me when I was going through such a difficult time, listening to me, and helping me understand what I needed to do next. I will always appreciate the role you played in helping me begin that journey. I would recommend Nancy Boler to anyone looking for compassionate and professional family-law guidance during a difficult time.

For years, I dealt with visitation issues. Being young and uneducated about my rights, and never having the child support order explained to me, I allowed many of my rights to be violated. My divorce has been finalized for several years now, but I just realized I never left Nancy a review. I decided to come back and do it now, because I've known other people that have gone through divorce and custody proceedings with other lawyers, and I can say with 100% certainty that my divorce decree is more clear than any of theirs. There's no room for questions or arguments, everything is there in the paperwork - even things I would have never have thought to include. Nancy's experience and comfort with the law and the Houston law scene is unmatched. Some of the other reviews talk about her workload - and I will say that yes, I do remember her being very busy and her schedule very full. But I also remember me calling her in tears at 9pm because I had questions and she would always answer me or text me that she'd get back to me asap. And she always did. Overall, if I knew anybody that needed help with family law in the houston area, I would immediately send them to Nancy. I didn't realize how lucky I was that I came across her until recently. Nancy was so extremely helpful to me with her insight and advice when she didn't need to be at all... helped and guided me on things I should be doing and what to expect. all on a random phone call I placed trying to find someone to ask legal questions to since my marital situation happened at an inconvenient time of the week and it was not during normal business hours but she still answered her phone and helped me out so much. And even knowing I wasn't going to be able to use her due to location reasons , she still took the time to help me with legal questions and concerns for almost an hour. If she was willing to do that for someone who didnt pay her AND couldn't use her as their lawyer.. I can only imagine the must go above and beyond for her clients!

I think a lot of lawyers forget to be human people. My respects to Mrs. Boler. I met her in court after my lawyer just didn't show up for my trial. Mrs. Boler, upon seeing and hearing the summons in front of the judge, approached me, even though she was NOT representing me, she took the time to explain what was happening and review my file, I had much more help and answers from Mrs. Boler that from the Attorney that I hired and had been working for the past 9 months.

There's a lot to cover in regards to my experience with Nancy and her office. To begin with, I am not located, from, or have anything to do with Texas. In fact, I am located on the east coast, many hundreds of miles away. However, as is common in today's day and age I found myself in need of a family law and divorce lawyer. Being out of state and not knowing the area very well left me in a very compromising position as you can imagine. Frankly, I didn't even know where to start. I called many offices, emailed and shopped around online for many days and out of over 10 offices I contacted, Nancy was the only to answer my call on the first attempt. Not only did that surprise me, but I called her when she was just arriving home and instead of taking my information down and having a paralegal get back to me with an email (which was a typical initial response) she took an entire hour to get to know me and my situation first. I knew then, I found my lawyer. As someone who was out of state, I have to say, it's hard to trust from a distance and its hard to see the hours of work someone is investing on your behalf to get you not only what you want but what is right. It takes patience and a lot of resolve but in this process there is an eventual culmination. Whether that is in trial, mediation, or a settlement. This is when you'll witness Nancy at her best. Then you will tell yourself, I got the right one. Luckily for me, Nancy was able to help me in my case. I know other experiences will vary and you can split hairs over things that were likely never in your control anyways. Thankfully, the best part that is in your control is your choice whether to have Nancy represent you. And I'm glad I made that choice.

First, I have to say I don’t leave reviews often and when I do it’s usually to complain about bad service I received. Professionalism and quality service is important to me. However, I can’t say enough great things about this attorney! I called Nancy for representation and got her voicemail. Of course, I expected to hear back (if at all) in a few days. However, she called me right back, even though she was out sick! She took time to talk even with her raspy voice (which sounded like it hurt). That impressed me. She returned my call even when under the weather? Next, she gave me her complete attention, listened to my concerns and gave great information. She was quite thorough and we spoke for a good while. I felt I could make more informed decisions from our conversation. Although, it was determined she couldn’t represent me as I needed someone licensed in another state, she STILL answered my questions AND gave a referral to another attorney (outside her firm) who is dually licensed and could probably help represent me in the state I needed. Who does that??? Most lawyers would say “oh can’t make money off ya, end of conversation” however she was not like that at all!!! She really cares!!! That is rare these days. I WISH SHE COULD BE MY LAWYER!!! If you are looking for someone who treats you with respect, is concerned about your case whether she represents you or not, and genuinely wants to help? Nancy is the one! In my opinion, I would be leery about choosing an attorney with 100+ reviews (probably mostly fake) and go with the attorney who will definitely make you a priority!

Nancy and Staci are always on top of their game! Of course, as many lawyers, they are very busy. If they are in the middle of something, they will almost always make time to talk to you, answer any questions, or most certainly call you back. My case was a special case. I needed to get a divorce from my spouse who lives in Nigeria. Nancy was the first Lawyer I called, and she answered her phone right away. She was very professional and kept me abreast of my case the whole time. I started the divorce process in April and by July my divorce was final. She was quick, efficient, and transparent. I highly recommend Nancy Boler. She has been great to me. Nancy took her time and drove to the hospital at 1am in the morning to visit with me and my 3 year old son at he hospital due to a near drown to death experience that caused by my ex-wife negligence. She’s more than just a regular attorney. Nancy actually care for my circumstances and the needs of my children during our hardship of separation. She was there eveytime I needed her not just for legal advice but also as a support system. Her paralegal sidekick Staci Hosford was also a great help. Staci spent a lot of time working with me and also was there when Nancy wasn’t available. I hired Ms Boler for a divorce. I had such a sad experience with this lawyer. She was very disorganized and careless. First of all, she said she would let me know the date my husband would be served, but never did. He was served when my kids were at home and it was my son's 15th birthday. This made for an extraordinarily sad day. Another time, she meant to email a draft of the Petition for Divorce to me, but instead had emailed me another couples' divorce papers. I was horrified! The next time she sent it to me, one of our children was not included in the document. So many little things that made the experience worse than it should've been. Divorce is terribly difficult without your lawyer causing additional aggravation.

The most soulless woman (if you could call her a woman ) I’ve ever come across. She is also corrupt! And was able to illegally obtain a restraining order without even notifying anyone. Lisa Millard was the judge who signed this order and committed this crime. The two of these women gave a restraining order against a mother to the most abusive man the world has ever seen. Nancy Boler should not sleep peacefully based on her actions. Sadly I believe she does. At least you won’t tonight. You total psychopath. You owe me an apology. And my kids an apology.

I think 1 star is generous. Nancy claims she cares about you and your situation but her work load conflicts that and you are simply just a number to her. I could only talk or text her after hours and I had to pop up at the office to get an answer and 9/10 times me showing up to the office was the only reason I got an answer or actually initiated progress being made. I waited 2 years for a ZOOM CALL and got nowhere. The first meeting with the AG I had to talk bc Nancy started talking about her grandson instead of pleading my case, so I stepped in and had to take over and talk for myself! Nancy tried to have the meeting while she was in the car but the judge made her wait until she finally made it to the office. Nancy is a wreck due to her workload. I hired Nancy for custody and she talked to my child's mother way more than she talked to me. Very bad communication. I never knew what was going on! When I asked her why things arent done, she always blamed it on her assistant. It seems that if Nancy even thinks about you she is going to charge you for that too. It's crazy I did not expect this type of service after reading about her. I will be moving forward as necessary. What a waste of 3k!!!!
