When we hear the term separation, we usually think of a husband and wife. And this post does certainly involve a split. However, the separation idea has allegedly spread into a further realm of the divorce.
According to reports, actor Kelsey Grammer not only wanted to separate from his wife Camille Donatacci, but he has intentions of separating the couple's two young children. Donatacci, co-star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," won't be having that.
If you are a viewer of the Bravo "Housewives" program, then you likely saw the couple's 13-year marriage come to its scandalous end last season. The show caught Donatacci's heartbreak on camera, when she found out that Grammer was seeing someone else while working in New York. She cried for the couple's two children, now ages six and nine.
Donatacci filed for divorce last year. Just about as soon as it was finalized, Grammer married again, this time to a 29-year-old woman. Reports began leaking last week that made it apparent that the family law dispute between Grammer and Donatacci is not over.
Both allegedly want physical child custody - with one reported difference. Sources allege that Grammer filed to have sole physical custody of the couple's son, meaning that he would allow Donatacci to keep physical custody of their daughter.
Donatacci insists that she will not separate her kids and is fighting for primary physical custody of both children. She and her attorney are reportedly disappointed in Grammer's actions following the divorce. They claim that he's been difficult to reach for communication and that he is falsely trying to portray Donatacci in a negative light.
This high-profile divorce case is sure to remain in the headlines. We will post an update as new developments arise.
