The famous talk-show host, Rosie O’Donnell, is getting a divorce. She and her wife have been officially married for over two years and had dated and lived together for a lot longer than that. Unfortunately, no matter how rich and famous you are, some things just don’t work out. Divorce is difficult at the best of times. Can you imagine getting a divorce and having it make the front of the newspaper? That is exactly what has occurred for the woman we all liked to watch on Television’s “The View.”
O’Donnell filed for divorce on Friday, Feb, 27, 2015. Court records confirm this has happened. The two are making the best of it by filing an uncontested divorce. Gossip in the media has been that they are not on speaking terms and are being ugly to each other. Filing for an uncontested divorce usually means that there will be an amicable split.
They have been separated since November 2014. The 52-year-old actress says that the relationship’s deterioration was one of the reasons she quit her television position at “The View” earlier in February. Her media representative says that O’Donnell is putting her family and her health first by quitting the famous talk show. She and her wife have teenagers at home and an infant the two adopted. You can easily see that her decision is based on what is best for everyone.
